How To Install Plastic Wall Anchors

There are few steps to install plastic anchor on the wall. All the steps are described below.
· Mark the location of the plastic anchor with a pencil. Use two anchors to hang larger images and give more holding power and durability. For learning purpose use an anchor and screw as the primary holder and add a small anchor to keep the object stable.
· First, drill a hole in the wall for the anchor. Use an electric drill for concrete or wood walls and a drill or a dab for drill wall. An IRL has the advantage of creating less drywall dust. When making a hole using a drill, use a slightly smaller diameter than the diameter of the plastic wall anchor for a tighter fit.
· Push the plastic wall anchor as far as you can into the hole with your finger. Gently tap the anchor with a hammer until it flushes with the wall surface. If you bend the anchor with a hammer, remove it with pliers and insert another anchor.
· Place a screw in the middle of the wall anchor. Anchors are often sold in packages that contain the right size screws. If you bought the anchors separately, choose the right screw for the anchor. If the screw size is not listed in the package, you may need to make a few attempts before discovering one that fits perfectly.
· Tighten the screw on the plastic wall anchor with a screwdriver. As you turn the screw, the anchor will expand to grip the edges of the hole. Do not insert the screw completely into the anchor as a part of the screw stem will have to hang the object.
Things to remember
You know that the hole in the right size for a cone plastic anchor if you have trouble pushing it, you may have to tap it with a hammer. To get the hole the right size, measure the shank of the drill bit on the front of the anchor. Its diameter for an opening for the screw should be 1/16 inch of the same size or more. If the diameter of the anchor appears in the packaging, drill a few holes with the same diameter.
